Very true. Over the years when I was directing and teaching acting and directing, I came across many artists who were obverse to your insightful poem. Many think they are who they are and that's that, when in fact, as you say, they are merely at a junction of character evolvement that is working through some pleasure or worry manifesting at the moment.
Unfinished stories. Makes one wonder if they ever finish, short of death. Important philosophy here. I hope many read it.
