Yes, back in our day, many young men were drafted into the military for war they didn't believe in. They hid their tears and those that could, ran for cover like Canada.
So many wounded warriors, since having to be taken care of by their wives and girlfriends. So sad for war we didn't deed to get involved in in the first place.
There is so much to ponder with this elequent sequence of words. The damages and wounds (many of which never heal) are what the country's mental health research needs to continue, sans Kennedy. Thank you for giving your readers cause to think more on who in their own circle of friends, famly, collegues and associates might be due some additional kindness. So many are damaged.
So much implied, so much left unsaid. Indeed, childhood provides the backdrop to our lives. And not just childhood since we bring into our infancy an identity in a sense already identified, to be further shaped into a greater whole as we live.
