depression

battle of the senses

Depression


 


 


Beneath the gnarling throws of despair


Agony melts into nothingness


Collapsed hope gropes for shelter


As fear descends to encircle and snare.


Vestiges of pain feed the illusion


Keeping us prisoners -


Souls locked in confusion.

Sometimes confusion is what keeps us from really going off on someone. But I know depression and the words of the poem describes only a portion of it.
