Demise

To be or not to be - the forever internal conflict

 

Demise
 
Tragedy was birthed out of
A shattered mind, split -
Dishevelled with the torturous
Knowledge of a life, neglected,
About to be cut short.
 
Complexity overgrown in an
Unripe vessel, Reason lost
A victim of shameful persecution -
Racked with bleeding pain, shooting
Unmercifully from the gods.
 
Corrupted mental anguish creates
Waves of aloneness – heavy
With self disgust as darkness
Sucks in the weary undefended,
A lost soul - talents wasted.
