GOD, are you listening?
In a world full of anger, deprivation, hunger
Where the shares are down and in tatters
We must question and value what matters.
In a world of war and of woes
Killing those who we describe as foes
Why does God not solve our problems?
The nature of God is in question
A difficult subject for digestion
But one I’m about to propose
You see God is not him and not her
He is a Concept of Good, I murmur
So where you see love, care and beauty
You have found God’s purpose and duty.
