A believing loved one's death

Speaks of the fate of a Christian loved one.

The span of man's life was never

Here on earth meant to be forever

Fact is, we were born to die--

Some sooner of us than others,

But, it isn't when or why

But, WHERE that counts, my brothers

For if the loved one knew the LOrd,

Then be thou not afraid.

She is not lost, she is not dead,

But, only has gone on ahead

To wait in that fair land of dreams

Where all is pleasant and serene,

And life is like a peaceful chord

That's played and played and played.

This piece had made me really think about death and the people in which I have lost in my life. I want you to know that you hit the nail right on the head when you wrote A Believing loved one's death.
It is a brilliant piece, thanks for sharing your work.

Awesome words James! When a Christian dies we should rejoice and not be sad. They are in a much better place than we are!
