 Just A Few Words

 

Sent her a message just today

To someone somehow got away

 

Didn’t know if she would reply

Still, I knew somehow, I had to try

 

Brief lines, straight from the heart

I wished we never had to part

 

I waited, in the darkest cloud

Like a lonely stranger in a crowd

 

Till a reply came through the air

Few words, but they were clear

 

She still felt, as I, deep in her heart

The love, even if…we had to part…

That's so sad, Fe. I belive if you once love someone they will forever be important in your thoughts and heart. Beautiful poem.

Love is often tangled up with resentment and anger, in fact it is so vulnerable that anything can hurt it. But a word well placed can re open doors and allow the pure emotion through or at least realize its still existing. Nicely shared dear Felix, may you have a precious day, and do what healers do, write :)

Sometimes life sucks, doesn't it? To find love and know it's returned only to be separated by any of fate's variables. But I'm a firm believer that if something is meant to be, and if you believe in it as well, then it will be.
