Silver straws float on water;
Cubic stalls in dark weather,
As phonebooths are jammed with
Newspaper_The city ,strangeness and
Unrest,fades like dusty roadways_
As night sweeps the inky sky,
and toads in the distance
hiccup loudly to pavement
Lights_And the city
Awaits the dreamy state
Of sleep.

The bulk of the collection is eight short stories that are set in yesteryear. The compilation is filled out with four entertaining fantasy pieces and three poems.
High school student Kevin Borden has a secret and his name is Louis Lannegan. He also has an overbearing mother. A tale of coming out in the shadow of parents and friends. Award winning novella.
