Do you remember heaven?
I have a hard time remembering…
remembering takes me over sometimes…
remembering is everything, though…
remembering is like giving birth:
pain and ripping and agony and
Creation
Well, I wanted to tell you
I think heaven is very close…
(It's here!)
Everything we read is true
The bibles and the gods and the second comings
And the poems and the songs and the novels and the movies and the paintings (maybe even the tv)
This planet has been giving birth to heaven…for a long time
Time time time time time time
some time no time all time
Gone
And we get to keep it all!
Do you believe?
The past and the present and the future!
The finches and the spiders and the trees and people and the ancestors and the tools and the technologies
And the beauty
And the light
And the dark
Ahhhhh! Heaven on earth. How often I've thought those words and believed that if people just took the time to examine their environment and look around them they could find joy instead of misery, could find happiness instead of problems that keep joy at a stand-off. (How do we intrepret a second-coming---is it an individualistic second-coming, or is it a world-wide phenomenon?)

Reading this was heavenly for its clarity and refreshing thoughts and unnecessary punctuation is left out....
Reading this poem was heavenly! (Pun intended!) If I could write poetry, I would use this author's work as an inspiration.
