One year ago I almost lost my life to Breast Cancer. Today I
live with the effects of Chemotherapy and Radiation therapy.Praise God,
I am alive in 2005. I kicked B/C butt. Yes I did.

I understand why you wanted me, Breast Cancer,

I really do I know,

I looked real good, my body was tantalizing you

you really liked my 34B breasts;

you really wanted it I had to disappoint you,

and breast cancer, you threw a fit

I could have saved you lots of time if you had only asked

I would've told you then and there;

my feelings I would not have masked

I would have told you to your face how much I hated you

I could have told you then that I wasn't scared of you

I wouldn't let you intimidate me;

you couldn't break my spirit at all

You tried all your shenanigans

and I just wouldn't take the fall

I know you were a little surprised

when I stood my ground with you

You thought I was goner; you thought I couldn't handle you?

You did everything in your power

to break my spirit, my courage, my will

But if I had one last breath left in my life

I would fight you still

I would fight you to the very end

and I'd fight with all my might

No matter what the outcome,

I'd have fought you, morning, noon and night

Through God's mercy and Grace, did you beat Cancer.
God counted that illness out, grabbed your hand and held it up.
The angels cheered because you've won the fight. A sweep of victory is upon your life.
You are truly blessed.

O, when Satan knocks on my door and beckons with temptation, I'll invoke the fighting spirit of Pamela deLeon-Lewis.

My dearest lady, you are beyond courageous. Awesome!

In admiration,
Richard
