She enters the desert Painful blisters plague her feet But she walks on Entering the sun Letting it burn away her skin Releasing her soul And she cools As the sun dies So she can live.

this read like some existential riddle, and i found myself searching for the answer in the lines you'd written. i'm not sure if i found them, either. lol a thoughtful work, poet. you definitely drew me in.
