I am the tiny drifter, Who glides down from the sky, Who greets the early riser, And sets the ebbing sun. I wander a long way And so many things to be done. But I got only a day, To begin and be gone. I hope to finish my journey In such a very short time, So as not to prolong the agony, For fate is not mine. I am the winged savior, Who grapples the world by hand, I could also be the harbinger, For your life and mine is one.
