“I think writing is a disease”


I tell her


And she laughs


And balloons fly out of


Her purse


And she laughs


And giggles


And laughs


And we can’t stop laughing


Because when we’re together


Happiness is at


Our fingertips


So close


Waiting for us to grab hold


And sometimes we do


And sometimes we let it


Sit there


And watch us


Laugh.
