Four Months and Four Days

as the blackness fades


and


the blue skies


peek through the


clouds that ridiculed


me and


followed me all


the way to


the pacific,


my body regains


color and the feeling


returns to my


fingertips.


all i am now is a


scrambled, matted ball


of


cheap red


cheap yarn


that i'll try to untangle


as quickly as possible


so we can get on with


the show.


but cheap yarn is a


bitch to work with.

Yes but cheap yarn in the hands of someone who is a skilled and loving craftsman can be turned into a master tapestry. Great write Mia and great imagery.
