A call for mercy when all seems so dark
and you are hurting physically, spiritually,emotionally and mentally, to whom can you go but the one who has the words of eternal life.
A PLEA FOR MERCY
Who is this within my body? Who has taken over my house today? Is he really here to stay? Or can he just be chased away?
Will the meds I take each day do the trick I need so badly, or is it really problematic?
Is there no one I can call on to share this heavey burden? Send someone now I plead for now my stress becomes distress
You have promised you will be there Whenever I need just give a call Is my telephone still working? Well yes, I get the busy signal
Come now quick, I go down fast Will I be with you at last? Or, do I have more things to do? Give me answers to my pleading
Are you pleased with my poetry? This I do my best for you Or, do you need more sacrifice ?
Give me courage, please my Lord I am but a weak sheep in the vineyard I must have hope today Put the rainbow in the sky
There is great desperation in this poem. God doesn't change things for you. He gives you the strength to find the knowledge to change things for yourself. You have to take some action with forward reaching goals. Delve deeply in your problem to look for answers, and somewhere you will find a little path that will lead you to what you seek.
You have put the hope in today, Marguerite, with this most glorious spiritual offering
And you have taken the stress out of distress in an enlightening way
Hold fast to the Spirit !
