When we are sad we tend to let our sorrow to cover with shadows of loneliness our soul...that never is alone per se...
Yesterday by the sea God scolded me,
“when feeling sadness you will cry not,
because the tears that I gave yesterday
are to be shed in a tomorrow unknown.”
“But why I have” I said, “such a pain
filling my heart, I was unloved my Lord,
you gave us a mother and a father
but giving us a home You forgot.”
“My child” he responded softly, “ I am
the one that always loved you the most,
only because of that you shouldn’t cry,
tears should only be to express your joy.”

I think too Georg that tears should be shed for joy, unfortunately that isn't always the way. sometimes I believe that tears are shed to wash sorrow away, which in the long run brings us to joy. A beautiful write Georg, Thank you.

i like this idea.
it should be most obvious to me but i rarely is.
especially when things have just got me so far down that remembering His faithfulness is such a struggle some days.
i went to the sistine chapel and i lay down on my back and looked at the ceiling for hours. truely beautiful experience. and i think that the god and adam piece is a beautiful illustration of gods longing to be in relationship with his creation...
yes... tears should only be an expression of joy but i think there is a time for sorrow too... it just shouldnt be a long, overwhelming, all-consuming time...
When two men hit the reset button and decide to go out looking for the good in the world, they not only find it but also a lot more.
