steaming cocoa & two
plump whities melting
like bubbled-out Styrofoam, then
two screams clearer than
below-window traffic. I listen &
the screams stop the way
all things stop when you
pay attention. On the floor
a lone prayer wheel
circles. I wait for the floor
to collapse & when it doesn’t I’m
disappointed. The planchette
on the Ouija board shimmies
up the wall, rests on the head
of Lord Krishna. I realize
once I write this down
it will never
have happened.

Nevermind the talented writing, I love your thinking power. "the way
all things stop when you
pay attention" -- most people wouldn't notice. :)

Dear Melina;
Outrageously and capriciously contemplative...! I love it...!

I loved the imagery of the planchette and the picture of Lord Krishna -- the lack of anything dramatic happening in the poem matches my own mood at the moment -- I adored it --
