Great poem. Our pastor retired many years ago. He and his southern wife Ruby Grace, are now interim pastors of our church. He has come out of retirement sometimes and next week is one of them cause our pastor is marrying someone in Calif. Our interim family are always there for people in trouble. Pastor had an ulcer and was very ill, but now he feels he is recovered enough to pastor his flock on Sunday. Thank God for that. He buried my Mother. He was special to us and still is. May yours finds some true work later too.

Thank you Pearl, this is a very wonderful tribute, and reminds me of my pastor in America. I'm in Australia now, but what you have written here, is from the heart, and not all pastors are alike. Only those who are near to our Lord God, through His son Jesus, can be like what you wrote here. A pastor with this kind of dedication to his congregation, is definitely special, because they don't judge others, leaving that for our Lord Jesus on the final Judgement Day.
