I love it! It displays your own writing style. Who cares that it isn't your typical haiku poem. Using that technique would ruin it's whole essence. Excellent poem!!! Karen
Thanks much for your feedback. Actually, I am a non-traditional girl and love flipping the script (changing lanes) so that's why I didn't write about nature although I can. Thanks for the update....
very nice haiku, mocha, but the pattern usually is 5 syllables first line, 7 the second, 5 the third. haiku are also usually about nature...if writing in haiku style, but poem not about nature, then it is senryu. hope this helps...i enjoyed these very much, however! can't wait to see your revisions.
