My dear friends, Sorry about my absence...I think we need to stretch the day. Anyway, I'll be dropping by from time to time. For today, here is my inspiration. Note: "Man" encompasses all! God Bless!
Don’t Cheat the Man in the Mirror by h. lena jones We cheat the man in the mirror By hanging on to hurts of the past We cheat the man in the mirror By saying those hurts are a part of us We cheat the man in the mirror By denying him a fresh start For God in His grace Gives us the opportunity To make TODAY the beginning Of the rest of our lives! Each new today allows us To reshape our lives in a positive way Regardless of our challenges! Each new today Is to be cherished For we pass this way but once! Where we chose to spend eternity Depends one hundred percent On the choices made today! “Therefore if any man be in Christ, He is a new creature; old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” (2 Corinthians 5:17KJV) Don’t cheat the man in the mirror Reach for that dream Listen to God Not man!

Beautiful and true write, the enemy has a way of filling our thoughts and memory of hurtful things of the past, wanting us to dwell on them and act out upon our feelings as a way of tearing down our spirit. We must rebuke the enemy daily and always look forward and upward as your write tells us. Very inspiring and full of wisdom. Enjoyed!

Amen to all~ We travel this royal path of life holding His book, we stop and reflect on His spoken word, our instruction manuel, trying to see where we've been, and if it was pleasing, we continue, if it was not, we learn from our mistakes and go forward, never to repeat them twice...and when our last day has befallen us, we Rejoice!

Very well written and extremely meaningful.
I would add a warning to all followers. Victor is right when he quotes John 3:3. You are right when you quote pual. But let us never forget that all have sinned and come short of the glory of god. Pual also wrote, "If we say we have no sin we decieve ourselves." Yes, by all means let the Lord wipe away our shortcomings but let us never become complacent. By doing so we allow ourselves to be swayed by the evil one.
