"Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path." Psalm 119:105 James 1:2,3 says: "...count it all joy when you fall into diverse temptations ... knowing that the trying of your faith worketh patience..." With that in mind, we ought to pay more attention to the "obstacles" in our path!
The beggar at the corner Might well be a messenger from God Disguised to spot-check Our attitude of love and compassion! And those trials we face in life Might well be God’s way of maturing us To prepare us for the next level In this journey called life! So, next time a beggar is seen Offer him a cup of coffee [Perhaps a smile is all he needs]; And as for those irritating trials Instead of saying “why me” Add a “not” in between! “Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: For thereby some have entertained angels unawares.” [Hebrews 13:2]

Words of truth and wisdom...in this write...a kind word...a helping heart...somethings sooth more than a hungry belly...the both sooth the heart with kindness and a reflection that they too are human beings...

AMEN! I've been that beggar on the corner for more years than I care to remember! But thanks be to God... He has redeemed me from that part of my past. And YES it was His way of maturing this old hard head! While I was,and still am maturing, He did teach me compassion along the way... as well as others. Truth seekers have no better teacher than hard luck or tough love! I appreaciate your stopping by my old postings. And yes,I shall return again. Been kinda bruised these last few years... And I miss all of you here too! Need all the prayers I can get!
