Dear Ken
These are wonderful! I especially love the last!
I've been writing haikus of late, and discovered thru a fellow denner that most of them are actually Senryu... Haiku traditionally focus on seasons, and senryu (Japanese 17 syllables also) are freer, often ironical or sartorial in nature. Even still, upon reading some old haiku books I find that haiku has extended its boundaries for centuries. Let me know what you discover if poss. Thank you so much Ken... which appropriately means knowledge!
