If Depression is Looking For Me
Tell it I went to the sun,
a place where my soul can gather warmth-
I've heard that there the cold feeling that reaches the tips of my fingers will begin to boil,
Just a few steps and I'll be there,
in Heaven where all depression fades away,
and just like dissolved water my eyes will see you no more,
I've left this letter and now it's about time,
time to meet the stars and become acquainted with the rainbow that was placed in the sky for me to follow,
If depression is looking for me tell it I won't be coming back,
they'll be no more meeting at our favorite place,
I can't act like I love you anymore,
I'm no Marlon Brando,
This is goodbye,
no longer do I have a place in my heart for you
good one James, years ago I gave up on depression also. Why climb from the bottom continuosly when you can stay on a level angle. Feeling bad and depression are two different animals. Everyone feels bad every now and then, it's just normal. G
We are the only ones that can overpower the depression in our lives. The battle belongs to only us.
It's a good thing you chose to turn it away.
