* I read in the New York Times Book Review that the best way to make poetry popular is to ban it. So I used this idea to build this poem.
Ban it. Be well versed with the nefarious clandestine exchange of verse. Make it a taboo a loud and angry tattoo. Scrawl it on enigmatic, nocturnal walls recite it in hushed bathroom stalls- splay it on the plastic mosaic tiles in shopping malls, infuse into the drone of muzak-- don't try to please or appease just attack!
