Each individual is created to be a vessel, through whom, the Creator carries out His purpose on Earth. Therefore, each one is necessarily and uniquely gifted/anointed to do so. Outward appearance is deceiving: some of His most beautiful treasures lie inside damaged - or disheveled - vessels. Watch for them, wait for them... Do not judge them by their flesh, rather observe them through the purified eyes of your heart.

Fortunately I was young then and had not developed the kind of timeless professorial attributes you describe so well. Thank goodness!
