A GODSEND DAY
Good morning, Good morning!
The LORD is out today
Good morning, Good morning!
He’ll meet me in the way
We’ll talk about the way things are
About what might have been
I’ll pick some daisies by the spring
And hand them all to Him!
Good morning, Good morning!
The LORD was out today
Good morning, Good morning
He’s met me in the way!
We talked about the way things are
About what might have been
My heart is blessed, my soul confessed
From spending time with Him!
Good morning, Good morning!
The LORD is out today
My heart is blessed, my soul confessed
I’ll have a GODSEND day!
My heart is blessed, my soul refreshed
I’ll have a GODSEND day!
Good Morning!

Today, Monday February 1st, 2022, marks 18 years since my father passed from Earth to the LORD. It’s always a bittersweet remembrance for me.
I really really miss my Dad and to me, he is alive as ever in my heart!
Still, I get blue to see him walk through the door and see his beautiful twinkling blue eyes and white wavy hair. I’m 70 now and it never changes. Today, I didn’t want to get out of bed, just wanted to lie there and remember him. When I did rise and get started, I went to my piano to play praise to the LORD. But instead, HE gave me a NEW Song!
He also reminded me that I was given my Dad’s front wave, his blue eyes, his poetry, his Faith, and his sunny disposition - and that my Dad SURELY lives on through me! Oh what a glorious LORD we serve!
We send out love,
Jan and J. Allen (aka Bubba)
