There you lay
disenchanted with loneliness
meddling thru foreshadowing
metaphors that behave
badly in the morning
that say vaguely goodbye
to the burning heart
below the bright sails
of your eyes

dressed up for liberation
you fold the flag you fly
it burns
you say vaguely goodbye

there is a long delay in our words
then
there are no words

Sadness in such eloquence. Nicely written.

In the Whirlwind by Tichaona Chinyelu

In the Whirlwind is a poetic storm that frees history from the cages of corruption and puts it in the hands of everyday people. Words are weaved into a new fashion statement that has nothing to do with runways but everything to do with projects!
