Good points made in this poem. One needs to try to move forward , because the past can't be changed. It is what it is.....M

I spent a good portion of my life looking forward, planning,,,, saving,,,, and the like. Now I'm 67 and I spend a lot of it looking back. I recently lost my youngest son (42) and now have decided that living for today.... right now even, seems to have the most merit. To some extent, I think that might be in tune with your poem.

Wise words

I've always believed that if we avoid serious illness and accident, though our bodies may age we do not get old and until life becomes not worth living. Some people live life as if it is a chore.

So I'm with you on this one Karen

How very true. To live a life like you discribed is to be a walking dead person. Enjoy life. You only come around once.

To be lost in life is such a waste...your words run deep Karen!

It is here now, this worse than death scenario. Give Hussein another four years and it will get much worse. America used to be known as a place who could always be counted on with a helping hand, now it is a place that has more people receiving some kind of public assistance than people working and paying into the system, and still we stand in line with our hands out to be filled without doing one single things to get it except ask for it.

YES < YES < YES < You have hit the vein of existence. We all must live in the moment and enjoy each and every breath.
