Love beyond ...

Poem Artwork

Jenna's long blonde hair fluttered in the breeze.  The wind felt cold against her skin but soon it wouldn't matter.  She couldn't go on, not like this.  He was gone and her heart was broken and yet ...

“I can still feel you, Collin, your warmth encircling me, the touch of your hand …”

She knew that was impossible.  He died, leaving her to face a life without him.

She looked down below wondering if it would hurt when she hit the water.

She leaned forward, but the scent of Collin’s cologne tickled her nose, making her hesitate.

“Don’t do it, sweetheart,” Collin’s voice caressed her like a kiss.  “You must live for both of us now."

It is true that a scent... ...or a sound can be powerful influences. Nicely expressed, Karen. Love and best wishes,

Gives me hope to live a better life for myself too since Tom's death Aug 17 07. Hard to do but must be done and I try my best each day o grieve less and get out of the doldrums and go on with a new life without him except for the wonderful memories of him I 'll keep in minds heart and soul always.
