If I eat TV dinners by the radio
In my robe in the middle of June
Or leave my hair in rollers
On a lazy afternoon
Hum off-key to my favorite tune
Ain’t nobody’s business if I do.
What if I pass on the jet
And decide to take the train
Or play outside in the pouring rain
Stare in the mirror like somebody vain
Ain’t nobody’s business if I do.
What’s the big deal
If I lack the perfect smile
Or sport my best sneakers
That they say are out of style
Reminisce with a friend I’ve not seen in awhile
Ain’t nobody’s business if I do.
Who cares if I’m not always number one
Or even close to number two
I’ve gotta embrace and love myself
That’s my business if I do.
