Love is rarely a gentle bunny rabbit. More like the Python version.
We do not dare disturb the Sleeping Beast called Love. It is all too dangerous. "These things happen," we say, stumbling away from the visibly dissolving ex� "The whole thing wasn�t very healthy anyhow. No future in it." Yet even in denial we know the monster in us, a beast in a deep cold lake, threatening to rise and change every circumstance. �

As Gene says you captured the beast beautifully...the Loch Ness monster of love "...in a deep and cold lake,"

The beast of love...I prefer to think of it as more a friendly giant, who sometimes plods accidently into things but has a kind heart overall.
