The most upbeat thing this week--:)

Cicada hatches, Climbs cement Back bend becoming Another form. Grub no more Not brown, but palest Translucent green, Wings parachute packets Pulse unfold. A stick to grasp Then bark, onto the old tree, Mother, nurse, joiner of worlds, This summer water fat, Rejoicing in day. Climbing to sing of Love and longing, Briefly to defy death, Earthen past gone as never was, Ecstatic in sunlight.

Process and progress handled with skill and delicacy and infused with richness of spirit, both yours and the little beauty, "palest translucent green," observed. Just gorgeous.
