. . . If you are lucky, you will have moments that live forever . . .

(I wrote this as a little narrative and placed in the 'short story' section, but members have asked me to consider it poetry, so here it is)

A Delightful Moment
By L. K. Craft

Shyly, he gazes

across the room.

Slowly, he bites

his bottom lip,

as if to inflict a little pain

while enjoying me.

Our eyes

briefly connect.
Quickly, he retreats

by looking down.

Intrigued, I move about

the exhibit thinking . . .
His captured smile

beckons to be sorted out.

Many years later,

Still sorting . . .

I have this habit of rambling about in here when I can...and checking out early posts by folks...I am so glad I did tonight. This is absolutely lovely! It describes and captures one of those rare moments that can set someone on a new path. Excellent work.
