Sorrow eater, midnight fetor Consecrate me where I lay Day corroder, precious odor Smother me in disarray Secret prater, night invader Croon to me in riddles long Earthborn temper, daylight crimper Drench me in atonal song Spirit shaker, mythos maker Resurrect my dying ash Moonbeam longer, fever stronger Potent where the dead rehash Meadow walker, window stalker Lordess of the silent shade Magic keeper, sapphire deeper Beautiful in nightmare made Shapeless shifter, tombstone drifter Wait for me at bedside drop Umbra seeker, coffin leaker Shadows on the summer crop Season bringer, saccharine stinger Wrap me in organic lust Sweet injector, wraith detector Leave me only when you must Autumn primer, witch’s timer Darkness is a welcome sin Mantra tainter, starlight painter Dawn will steal from me again

Been away working on an illustration project and am happy to have taken a moment to check out your new posts, which I've been waiting for. Your mastery of language continues to amaze, move and inspire. I particularly like this poem - its exquisite flow and mysterious pull into the depths of night. There's a hint of Edgar Allen Poe to this and an intriguingly embedded invitation to cross over to 'another side.'
