I love looking to where our father lives and I have never been disappointed in doing so, When I see a falling star I know someone has went home and I am glad for them.
A WISH ON ME
Longing to be way up high
A yearning to be a star in the sky
Not the biggest or the highest
But a need to be the brightest
I wonder when my day will come
To be burned up by the sun
Will it be fast and broad daylight
Or will it be a dark black night
Will it go on for a long, long time
Or over in the blink of an eye
I just hope a child sees
And takes that moment to make a wish on me.

beautiful! amazing imagery and expression to your wish! I completely loved it!
If you tend to believe romantic, passionate, masculine poetry is a thing of past eras, read "She Intrigues Me," and be swept away in the beautiful craft of a contemporary poet of love.
The songs and art in this book are about our collective emergence after the pandemic and trauma of the last few years - comprised of 5 collections: World as Refuge, Where We Live, In Our Hands, Rhythms of Change and What We See & Sow.
Light & peace,
