I wrote this after my second heart attack, it made me take stock of myselfand that when I relized I am not afraid to die and do not think people should be sad I believe in a better place.
A Broken Heart
It has a hold of me is what they say,
A disease that numbers my days.
I am not afraid to go,
Although a little sad,
To leave behind,
All that I have.
Don’t cry for me, But rejoice
I know now,
I’ll hear his voice
I look down on you ,
With arms open wide,
One to protect,
The other to guide
My greatest wish,
Is to see,
All that you accomplish,
Without me.
I will be at peace ,
Seeing all you do,
Knowing that I had a hand,
In raising you.
Beautiful write my friend...for one way to view death is the beginning of our eternal life...this is a great testimony for others.
