Unknow Arthor but I found it when I was young and it stuck with me....
Though the cover is worn,
And the pages are torn,
And though place bear traces of tears,
Yet more precious than gold,
Is the Book, worn and old,
What can shatter and scatter my fears.
When I prayerfully look,
In the precious old Book,
Many pleasures and treasures I see,
Many tokens of love,
From the Father above,
Who is nearest and dearest to me.
This old Book is my guide,
"Tis a friend on my side,
It will lighten and brighten my way,
And each promise I find
Soothese and gladdens my mind
As I read it and heed it today!

Beautiful testiment to the Book of Truth, our Bible! It has all that you need to make it in life, and its messages are worth heeding! Most of all, it is about the Lord and His Love for all man, even when they sin; but they have to learn to turn to Jesus, accept Him into their lives, and revel in His glory! BRAVA; very well done, Sharon! I am keeping this one; it is definitely worth reading again and again!
