Thank you Lord Jesus,
for this beautiful day,
For give me the strength
to walk your way.
The faith for my trials I have endured,
Thank You Lord,
your strength is rich and pure.
Thank you God,
you saw my needs and held my hand,
Directed my ways
for Your wonderful plan,
More than I desired,
more than I knew I'd need,
You knew the things that were hidden deep inside of me.
Thank you, Father,
for being my Dad,
My good feelings brought with things I had dread,
Given me peace to know you are a thought away,
Let me concentrate on you Lord,
more and more each day.
Thank you Lord,
there are no words to describe,
You love, joy, peace
brightens my life.
Hold Spirit you fill my soul
 running over is my cup,
Filling me overflowing with Your love.
So many poems I'd written
show so much regret,
Times I cried,
the mistakes I'd met,
But over and over
Your love shines through,
Lord, I wouldn't want
a day without being with You.
You take realities,
words hard to swallow,
Turned around with Your love,
as a sweet peppermint.
Soothing my senses is such
melody of my soul.
Lord,
I'll keep praying to You
throughout eternity!
