We all need a place and time to refresh and be bless in the good things of the Word.

Copywrite by Sharon Whitworth 2006
revised January 17,2007

Have you ever wished for a place,
You could call your very own:
Somewhere you can run and hide
Yet never ever feel alone.

I use to have such a wonderful place.
Full of study books galore,
Than one day my husband said
You won't be doing this anymore.

My  work shift at the time was 12:00 to 9:00,
Went I go home, it took awhile to find peace,
I could sometimes read my Bible to 3:00am
That's when he'd wake up for his job line.

Such visions in that room displayed
Such visions my mind's-eye could see,
For I could soar on eagle's wings
And know such bliss, such awesome peace.

In twenty four years of marriage,
We've changed work plans again & again,
Though not always an advantage,
We did what we were told we can.

Visions of miles and miles of choirs,
In the clouds arrayed in white
Singing such melody so sweet
Each word filled with awesome excite.

All hail the power of Jesus Name
Let Angels prostrate fall
Bring forth the royal diadem
And crown Him Lord of All...
Bring forth the royal diadem
And crowwwwwwwn Him
Looooord of ALL!

Can you hear the melody so sweet,
Envision the rapture glee
When our Lord comes down the court
Being crowned the King of All Kings.

So much has Christ Jesus our Saviour done,
Such stories in each hearts have been told;
For all the things He's done with Faith
And called us each His own.

Yes, I truly miss my room
And seem never to enjoy again;
Until such time the Lord see fit
I shall tarry 'til that time God sends.

Oh what a day it shall be,
Songs echo continually in my head.
As a child my soul is filled overflowing
With the music and melody around.

Glowing with such fire and love
The echos refresh my soul complete.
And I in awesome wonder, dare to believe
I'm not alone in seeing this vision complete.

For all of God's children
Have dreams and visions promised to be
I wanted you to see my glimpse in eternity

This mind's-eye and song
melody with me.

I agree, we all should have a place where we can think, calm down, pray, meditate and do all the things positive in life. Victor

Beautiful write...one can get lost in the pages between the covers of the bible. I enjoyed this write very much...that will be a day that many will be prepared for and many will not. I have had a couple of dreams of heaven and it's glory to behold, I've never seen God or Jesus in the dreams, only relatives...I saw a bright light one night in a dream so bright I couldn't hold my eyes open...I think that must've been God, for the word says that his face will light up that city. Enjoyed, glad I stopped by.
Blessings,
Joyce Bowling

Karma Bank to Following By Listening by Chiemi

These song lyrics and art are tales, tides and twinkling lights - tunes telling stories of warmth and sun, city and sand, paths that lead, and the coins we can keep in the Karma Bank. Spirit's been bypassed for sorrow, dreaming of a better tomorrow .
