I hope you are never alone In the smoldering pain of a disturbing day I hope God will ever guide you As you bend your knees to pray.
I hope you have a friend to pray with, For love, health, peace and devotion To live, respect, show goodwill and praise To all God’s creation still in motion.
I hope you have joys and happiness As you move through the trials of life I hope you experience greater satisfaction Than bouts of unexpected strife.
When you lay your head upon your pillow Each night before you sleep, I hope your thoughts are clear and free From troubles that press too deep.
So beautiful are your chosen words, Jeanette. I felt sheer peace and joy as I read. You see, I do have a dear friend who enjoys studying the Bible with me. We challenge each other with Scripture memory verses each week. We have a happy time together sharing and being fed by the teachings and promptings of the Holy Spirit. Yours is a delightful poem.
