Steamroller Joe

It was in the mid to late fifty’s
He built a shack nestled in the trees
Because it’s on our land, it’s now become our property
Steamroller Joe’s place, for everyone to see

He was called by Steamroller
Because of his job as an operator
Buildin’ roads by smoothin’ out the dirt and the tar
He came home to his shack at night, drank his whiskey, smoked his cigar

There’s not much more to his life that I know
‘Cept that there’s rumor he was rollin’ in plenty o’ dough
Since he wasn’t married, the money didn’t go to any widow...
So, I’m wonderin’ where all those dollars went, where could they go?

Someday, I’ll bring down my sledgehammer and take a few whacks
At the walls and floors and furniture and whatever else might be in that shack
Maybe I’ll find out the rumors were just that, or
Maybe I’ll be rich someday and you’ll know the rumors were fact!

I Made A Shack (Home) Into a Masion, Only To Have Satan (Evil)
Take It From Me -- Of 20 Years Seemed Like I Lost It 20 Days; 14 years
Ago... But, w/o Dreams It would Have Never Come Too Pass & With Dreams
It Will Return In Million Fold,i.e. Even Satan (Evil) Too Must Pay That
Price...

For Not Even (God) Could Give Me That Which I Alone Created,
And, Satan Only Rent's It For Now, As Near The End And,Future Is
Closing Fast -- I Did Not Lose, I Did Not Win, But I sure As Hell,I Am
Going Too Collect... For Even Satan Has a Soul, and I Hold It, (His Soul)
In the Palm Of My Hand...

Not Of This World, TRASK...

Etal: Without Defeat You Can Never Claim Victory,
Without Victory You will Have Never Known Defeat...
