The tree is a wonder,
To watch it's growing form,
It grows the day it's planted,
From the seed that it was born.
Newborn branches reach out to touch,
The sky that holds the sun,
Then grows beyond understanding,
As it shades, all as one.
Each season changes the tree,
Beholding in its beauty,
Moved by nature, causing wonder,
Escaping from the cruelty.
Delicate leaves and or fruit it bears,
To provide purpose being alive,
Showing the way to be patient,
Strength and will, it can survive.

I bought my son a 3 foot pine
by the time he moved in about 5 years
it was well over 15 feet tall
we used to decorated for Christmas
Peace be with you

They have seen more in time than any
earthy human being... I have many of
these majestic soldiers in my back yard...
Lovely metaphor
