Poem Artwork
Reunion of Friends

Two friends met and learned true love,
God’s fingers pointed from above.
The angels sent to bring these two,
Helping, nurturing, bonding, that grew.
Time molded, love healed, hope brought to life,
Sunshine, sunsets, smiles brought forth light.
Years ago childhood friends,
Snowballs thrown, laughs, and grins.
Mind’s remembering yesterday,
Today two hands creating, tomorrow’s life forever play.

I know the feeling. I met my wife and our 20th high school reunion. We had a real fling, nothing like our high school days when she was going steady with another classmate. Unfortunately, the reality was much less than the dream, and we divorced at her request, not mine, three years later.

Hey Teresa,

Fantastic poem. They say to have a friend you first must be a friend. I can sense that you are kind, thoughtful and very considerate. Not to mention that you are also very intelligent and an excellent poet. Well I guess that's just scratches the surface of your character. Amen my friend!

Peace, love and blessings,

John Michael

...life goes by in a flash...through different
stages...moving on parallel roads...Then after
welcomed chance to get together at the "Reunion
of Friends"...reconnected and "two hands creating,
tomorrow's life forever play"...
Thank you Teresa for sharing your inspiring poem.
God Bless you!
