HEARTACHE

by Teresa M Walker — Read all 50 poems by Teresa M Walker

The loss of love so strong that you ache in your soul.

Wednesday, July 23, 2014

Poem Artwork
HEARTACHE

Its pain one feels, when love was known,
Now settled a heartbeat cold.
Escapes to a place, one won’t hear,
Shrill cries, choking sobs, unextingished tears.
Convulsing body, knees bowed,
With hands on head, reversing words out loud.
Sorrow, loss, to feel no hope,
One knows time will help you cope.
Heartache does hurt, purges the soul,
Then turns around and makes you whole.

We all have been struck with heartache at some time in our lives. With your kind character, since you are more open and honest you become an easy target. Whatever the cost, don't change and become hard. Just take a stand, dust off your feet and move on. Peace, love and blessings,

Into every life, rain must fall. Heartbreak is a part of life, especially when we are young and feel that we know what is right and are so easily hurt when we find out that we were wrong. The last line points out the wisdom of failure that resides in those who have lived to the fullest.

Yeah, heartache hurts and then purges the soul and makes you whole. In the meantime it drives you insane.

...your poem resonates with so many...an insight of...broken heart and the soul in the process of healing.
Process that takes a lot of deep soul searching...praying and a patience...Process that...finds an amazing lifting of spirit and self-worth...helps to keep growing in love and reconnects to the divine within "self"...finding inner peace...Thank you Teresa.
God Bless!
