Sometimes the truth hurts, but it is in forgiveness that others come to know Christ

The Truth
Sometimes the truth makes you cry,
Stories, sharing, sometimes goodbye.
But opened hearts have lots of love,
God gave to us, from up above.
He showed us through his mercy and grace,
Mother Mary loved him as she kissed his sweet face.
Jesus came to set us free,
What he did for others, he did for me.
Forgiveness is the only way,
Sins being forgotten, confession you're saved.
Share him with others is the plan,
The precious gift given to every man.

I love that image. What a beautiful metaphor it is, too. John 11:35. Michele and I used to have a print of that at home. I give thanks every day, Teresa, that I have been given the gift of faith. Amazing what a gulf exists between those who believe and those who do not. Brings to mind the story of Abraham and the rich man.
