Dazzling yellow Daffodil, how delightful thou art as
you burst through the ground in leaps and bounds
While White Lily whispers forth in pristine
perfection, a pansy of blue, silently climbs through
A beautiful Bergenia,plunges through the dirt in
purple passion, as a Pink Tulip joins the floral fashion
Red Kamelia proudly does its duty, spreading its beauty
And so the season that gives the much needed
rain,and storms that cause the most pain,also glows
with the bountiful blooms of spring that make our soul sing!
It is that silence between the colorless end of Winter and beginning of earth renewal that keeps our souls awaiting the beauty of Spring. I, like many, wait each year with anticipation for each colorful blossom.

This reads with the effect of a 'flash mob,' which name doesn't match the delight of people surprising the general public with a pre-planned musical treat. To me this was a botanical 'flash bloom.' Thanks, I feel pretty. ~~ Diana
Beautiful. I could never write a poem such as this. That doesn't mean that I can't appreciate one when I read it. You made the colors so bright and cheerful it put a smile on this old dour mug.
