Beyond our bedroom window,
Creating a dynamic
And intimate cocoon
As we spoon,
With me on my side

In your 70th year,
Warm, comforting,
Still sexy against mine,
As your soft snores
Rumble in my ear,
Punctuated by the
Gentle brush
Of your lips
On my skin.
It is moments like this
When I feel most blessed
Knowing our love
Flows between us,
Still entwining our hearts
Even as it ignites
A lifetime of desire.
Our bond is tensile,
The product of
A love that has existed
Since childhood.
We are friends
And sweethearts.
We are mates,
We are one.
We are forever.
