A vision of the war in Iraq.
Images You flame now for one week, and the west wind will carry pen and pencil on a journey. waxen images fall gravely before your eyes. mist spreads out in a long measured rectangle. you dream of Brancusi's elegant forms--wing, spere, head. a strong breeze carries messages to the west from the burning desert.. images rise and fall amid fears of war.

Images of war should not exist. They only bring shame that lasts for generations. It takes a second to bomb a city, it takes a century or more to face the consequences.

Your thought-provoking lines triggered this kind of reflection in my mind.
