(more of a prayer, really, from a spiritual-not religious, point of reference...)

Shock-waves fill the earth

to milk the birth

with outstretched hands

and scattered dirt,

while pain-mistakened efforts urge

troubled and untroubled ones

to remember destitution

is merely

a small inch away.

Give all that I can today, even in the smallest way

with one kind act, or even more,

by smiling when I would look sore,

by sending words to unexpecting ears,

with joy, maybe dry some tears,

employ the axle with the acts that God meant

for the earth to ride upon,

send Guidance on

drifts of air, to remind my forgetful heart;

Never too small, love always will impart

JOY....always.

This to me is one of the nices prayers that I have ever read. As an agnostic I believe that God is the world and the world is God, our lifes are meant to be here to try to help out our fellow man/woman and teach our children to love.
Enjoyed this one Rose, a lot.
