A Slip, A Drip

An old poem I dug up about life I guess. I cannot remember the exact time frame.

A slip, a drip

A slip, a drip, and a cut of the knife.

Tickle, prickle, crawling down my arms.

Black and white fade, with crimson rain.

To feel, to heal, this was not for me.

Dragging the cold edge ,of a tulips stain.

Plunge deeper and deeper.

There is no pain.

It is all in my head; Dreams luxury.

To sleep is to live.

In flowered labor gives sweet death.

God discards his mistakes, like mothers holding bent hangers.

A slip, a drip, and the cut of the knife.

Tickle, Prickle, crawling down my arms.

Black and white fade, with crimson rain.

This is taking so damn long, the labor pains.

It is the beginning we seek, the ending the same.

Black and White faded, Crimson come wash this pain.

The labor pains, well worth it, what came next was probably the joy of your life. I take to this write and can relate to it. It is a fantastic write about the beginning of new life and the struggles involved to have it come about. Great**********
